The Wellesley School District utilizes a variety of educational software for students and staff. As with any educational endeavor, a strong partnership with families is essential to a successful experience. On this page we are sharing information regarding the use of educational software in the Wellesley School District. Annually in the PowerSchool Parent Portal we request parental permission for your student to access educational software which includes, but is not limited to, the following:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Google Apps for Education<\/b> \u2013 <\/span>Google Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Seesaw (Grades PK-5)<\/b> – A kid-friendly Learning Management System for elementary student engagement that allows students and teachers to create and collaborate in one place, and share with families.<\/span> Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Dreambox (Elementary)<\/b> \u2013 an adaptive, online K-8 math program designed to complement classroom instruction. <\/span>Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kids A-Z (Elementary)<\/b> \u2013 a kid-friendly learning portal where students go to access all their eLearning materials in an interactive online environment. <\/span>Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Savvas Realize (District-wide)<\/b> \u2013 a single sign-on portal for Pearson online curriculum with standards-aligned content and embedded assessments. <\/span>Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Keyboarding without Tears (Upper elementary)<\/b> \u2013 a web-based curriculum for grades K\u20135 that teaches typing, general computer readiness, digital citizenship, and online test prep. <\/span>Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Canvas (HS)<\/b> \u2013 a paperless Learning Management System that allows teachers to create classes, distribute assignments, and send feedback. <\/i>WPSRaiders.org Email will allow your student to communicate and collaborate with teachers, staff and other students of the Wellesley School District. Students in grades 9-12 can also communicate with prospective colleges, employers, parents and accounts outside of the Wellesley School District. It is expected that students will operate at all times within the parameters of the Wellesley Student Acceptable Use of Technology Policy<\/a> with regards to Google Apps for Education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
