A Message from the Tech Deck: ��

• To all 8th grade students AND to students who are not returning to WMS in the fall: Your iPads will receive the wipe/release message during 7th period tomorrow. ��When your iPad receives this message, all content on your device will be deleted. ��Please finish backing up your iPads tonight.��

• ��ALL WMS Students:��

  • All Loaner iPads should have been returned to the Tech Deck yesterday. ��If you still have a Loaner, please return it to the Tech Deck today. Loaner iPads will not be available for the remainder of the school year.

  • All district owned iPads should be dropped off by students at the Tech Deck tomorrow (Wednesday):

    • during 7th period��

    • OR just after the bell at the end of the day.

• iPads should not come to school on Thursday and Monday.

Please be reminded that all Yondr pouches will be turned in this Thursday. If you do not know where yours is, you will need to take the next couple of days to find it. Even after pouches are returned, there will still be no smart devices allowed out of your backpacks or pockets from the time you enter the building until the time you leave for the day. We will be following a “smart device free” school policy until the very end of the year. Monitors will still greet you in the mornings to check for the status of your devices.

There are still 88 books checked out of the library. Is one of them yours? Bring back your books as soon as possible!

Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating starting this evening? ��This evening begins the Muslim holiday of Al-Hijra. Al-Hijra��is the Islamic New Year, which celebrates the Prophet Muhammad’s establishment of the first Islamic state in 622 CE. It marks the beginning of Islam as a community of people. There is no specific activity associated with this holiday, although many Muslims make New Year’s resolutions on this day.��

There will be no 3:30 pm bus to Boston today. All students riding to Boston will be taking the 2:30 pm bus. The late bus in Wellesley will leave at 3:30 pm.
